School Board Approves Grant Application
Tonight the Cloudcroft School Board approved the application for a grant for a 100KW Solar photovoltaic system. More information is available at www.cmsbears.net
The first project of Cloudcroft Green started with an A+ for Energy grant from British Petroleum. This grant allows the school to purchase a greenhouse, along with solar electric and solar thermal panels to heat and power the experiments within the greenhouse. The plan is to use this system as a teaching tool for not only alternative energy, but biology, botany and agriculture.
